
When I joined Wellington Management as Web Development Manager in 2001, I was looking for a dynamic firm that would provide me with opportunities to grow. As Software Engineering Manager in Information Services, my primary responsibility is to provide technology solutions that enable our firm's business teams to be effective and efficient. As the complexity of our business continues to increase, most of our challenges are multi-dimensional, requiring us to collaborate across a broad cross-section of functional teams and technologies. We have a close partnership between our IS and business teams, which allows us to innovate and provide unique solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
To be successful at Wellington Management and to keep up with new technology developments, one needs to be nimble and able to adapt to meet the challenges that arise on a daily basis. While being aggressive problem solvers, we also need to be friendly, open-minded, and humanistic in our approach.
